Okay! This is a pretty big deal, this blog business. I can’t tell you how many times Kerry and I have talked about starting a blog. That being said, there is a very good chance this is the only post that will ever see the light of day, but I am optimistic about my prospects.
I’m going to use this space to talk about the various renovation and design projects we have happening in our lives. I also want to keep track of, and share, our favorite design inspirations and products.
I am pretty sure it is only my mother reading this at this point (Hi Ma!), but if you who don’t know us, and have just stumbled onto our page here is what you need to know about us. We are Kerry and Marah: a 30-something couple living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We have one wee baby, who we love to pieces. I have a regular 9 to 5 gig, although I’m currently on maternity leave, and Kerry has his own graphic design studio. We’ve been together for 6 years and when we first met, one of the things bonded over was a shared love design as well as our city and its amazing houses.
Over the years we have bought and sold a number of properties, and bought and kept even more for investment purposes. We also always seem to have a project or two on the go at our current abode. I am going to chronicle some of our past and current work and also post now and then about design-y things we like.
